Hey everyone. We havev a stag coming up in Galway. Looking for recommendations on the best places for craic and laughs and also places to avoid haha. So far i know were going dog racing the friday. We wanna give the stag a great weekend. Thanks.

Dog racing is very good! But id advise to have the night planned after. There is nothing worse than finishing up an event like the dogs on a high then getting split up cos one bouncer doesn't like the look of the group.

Id check in with places and have an itinerary.

Finish up in the Quays upstairs with a good band and age group and then Nut Hot around the corner for grub. HMU if ya want more info. I was on a stag in G'town before that had the dogs racing involved.

Start in eyre square and work down. Escape rooms are good too

Theres indoor karting close to city in lisbaun industrian estate. Alos a large outdoor one out the sticks, Pallas Karting.

An puchan is close to dogs will be packed at weekend. Plenty of talent. Oconnels around the corner for great pint. Park house for a solid feed to set ye for the day. Quays is prob best place to finish. Again usually plenty of craic and talent. Good trad sessions on few pubs along shop street and down latin quarter. Dominick street.

Was on a stag there last year. The escape rooms are a bit of craic, but best done early in the day before you have a shed load of drink on board, that was our mistake

If there's a large group of you split up into smaller groups of 3 or 4 when going into pubs as a lot of them turn away stag parties, some even ask the small groups if they are part of a stag so warn everyone and have them prepared to fib 😁
