It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of a beloved friend and pillar of our community — JaneMarple.

As many of you will know, JaneMarple was the heart and soul behind Swingsters Events for many years. Her warmth, humour, attention to detail and genuine love for bringing people together made every event feel like something truly special. Whether you were a nervous first-timer or a seasoned regular, she had a way of making everyone feel welcome, seen, and safe. Her cheeky wit and sharp mind — true to her namesake — left a lasting impression on us all.

Her dedication helped shape the Irish scene and created a space where friendships, connections, and beautiful memories could blossom. Her absence will be deeply felt by so many.

Our thoughts are with her family and all who loved and knew her.

Rest in peace, JaneMarple.

That was so sad to hear earlier on Fet, she welcomed me as a newbie to Swinksters and it felt like I had finally come home. She was so warm and generous with her time.
