So chatting to a fellow work colleague at lunch today.

She was talking about her bf and she was saying that her bf has been bit off lately.

She said she was on the laptop and in the search history she found he'd been looking into CBT.

She asked my advice and said do you think this is safe researching it on the internet.

I responded well if he's getting all the information on this and researching it safely it should be OK.

She then said would it not be better to speak to the doctor to see a specialist who deals in cognitive behavioral therapy.

I genuinely thought she was on about cock and ball torture.

As she was being really vague and saying stuff like is it safe. Could he not do damage to himself as it's information of the internet and a forum with strangers chatting about it.

So has anyone else had this happen to them when someone's using an acronym for something they're talking about and your having a conversation about a completely different subject.
