No thoughts on them either way but I have to wear orthotics and can't see them being compatible.

What is the deal with them being worn in public? I nearly fell over my trolly recently on the supermarket when I spotted the lady behind me (over 50) wearing them with jewelry all over them.

Then my neighbours daughter (around 16) goes out all hair and eyelashes with her BF, but wearing these!

I don't get it. They should be kept for the garden only. It's akin to wearing pj's to the shops.

No. No. No.

(I feel better now)

I'm utterly indifferent to them. I had a pair that I got in the States years ago and they were the comfiest things I ever wore. I often wore them out and about and couldn't give a fuck what anyone else thought as long as I had comfortable feet.

I see women regularly wearing tiny little shoes with high heels which look sexy by modern standards but are damaging their feet and I keep thinking it's nonsense. Destroying your feet for the sake of image seems daft to me.

It brings it back to the socks vs crocs.

"

Whatever you're comfortable with. They're mostly washable so there's no issues with going barefoot.

Footwear without socks is trendy but you lose over 250mls through each foot over a whole day so what would normally be absorbed into your socks has to find somewhere else to go instead.

Wearing heels at the time would be fine, but not crocs. She'd have to kick them off first.

I have a pair and I wear then in work in the summer. They keep my feet a lot cooler than wearing my usual work shoes and are comfortable to wear for a 12 hour shift, when I'm on my feet so much. I was totally against them but gave in and bought a pair a few years ago and haven't looked back since.

Absolutely, a truly all terrain piece of foot wear. Put the strap around the heel and they go into sports mode for running. They also come with speed holes to make you run faster as it's reducing wind resistance. Seriously though I wouldn't pay full price for them but if they are going cheap enough I'll buy another pair
