Was a big fan of CB/ham radio many many years ago and was just thinking are there many enthusiasts left? I think it's still illegal? Anyway any one know or still broadcasting?

CQ, CQ, CQDX...those were the days. I remember when the bounce was good I chatted with a guy in USA. A Moonraker 4 was my dream, in the days when you could see ham radio aerials on people's houses it was like having a porche in the driveway. Never got one!! Remember when can we're in every second car, tractor and the ultimate base station.

I remember having a CB radio & aerial on one of my cars back in the day. You’d drive up onto the biggest hill or mountain you could find. The higher up the further out the range you could chat to people. Mainly truckers and stuff. Good fun though.

There was worse things I could’ve been at I suppose lol

It's not illegal it was never illegal, CB stands for citizens band, used to have a president Johnny 2 in the car, used to pick up the life boat and the coast guard quite a bit

"It's not illegal it was never illegal"

That's not true. They were illegal right up until the late 90s.
