FAB... A MAN'S PERSPECTIVE...

Thought I'd open up this thread to the single fella's out there on Daddy's Day to find out what your experience on fab has been like from a single guy's perspective

Think along the lines of...

Q. What actually made you sign up for this site... boredom, curiosity, heartbreak, sex, love or something else?

Q. In general, do you find couples and females here to be fun, engaging, chatty, temperamental, stand offish / something else?

Q. What’s are you hoping to find here... chats, few fun hook ups, something serious, or see what happens?

Q. When you go through profiles, what grabs your attention first—and what’s an instant NO??

Q. Has dating online surprised you in any way—good, bad, or just weird?

Q. Ideally, what would like to see more off on the site?

Q. Do you think men have to work extra hard here to get meets and why?

Just throwing out a few questions. So imagine it's a simple non judgemental lad's night out and we're all having an honest, upfront chat and a bit of banter.

Sooo what's your take on Fab??

My take on fab

You get out of it what you put into it

You can meet some great people and you can meet arseholes

You can make real life friends

You can have great craic at socials and on holidays with these people

I've never used any other apps so dont know what they're like

You can find yourself on this site, find out who you really are and be comfortable with it

I signed up with zero experience of anything like this and zero expectations in the hope of exploring what I had never explored before.

Women and couples are no different here than anywhere else. Most are approachable and engaging and know their own minds while others are ignorant, demanding and not decent human beings.

I've made some of the best friends I have through fab and even though most of those are no longer here, we still keep in regular touch.

Nothing really grabs my attention in profiles. I'm not attracted to 2D images and a few words on a screen. I'm more attracted to people and the forums are a good way of determining personality and character.

I'm more cynical than before I joined here because I've seen the levels some are willing to stoop to either to get their leg over, be seen as popular or just to remain relevant.

That includes those who suffer from fanny blindness and are happy to enable horrendous behaviour by "hot" profiles.

I've never been fully invested in the site and it has never been anything more than a hobby so there's nothing really I would like to see more of.

Men are told they have to work harder here but I've never experienced that. The vast majority of my meets over the years have come through private messaging with only a handful through group socials.

I've always said that a lazy profile is a lazy profile regardless of gender and while some claim that women and couples don't have to work as hard to find what they are looking for, they don't really have any excuses if they don't make an effort and then find that those getting in touch aren't making one either.

Anyone wanting my time is going to have to work for it and that approach hasn't failed me yet.

A nice rock

There are boobies.

Some people have let me touch their boobies.

There are dicks.

I avoid the dicks.

There are assholes.

Some I avoid some I try to poke

I joined out of boredom.

I find it very challenging (any wonder with the male to female ratio).

But I also find most people are unrealistic. In the sense of what they expect, I'm by no means ugly and I do very well in "real life" but seems to be the opposite here for whatever reason lol.
