I'd love to go to Block Rockin Beats. I was trying to get the lads to go when it was on Killarney over Christmas but we had a night in Dingle planned for the night before, so no one was up for it.

There was definitely an older vibe. And a lot of familiar songs. Loads that I haven't heard for years. I seemed to know the lyrics to every song 🙈

We regularly embarrase the kids when it's on here radio up full blast , the other week 2 of us going around the kitchen dancing with hi vise vests and sunglasses on, needless to see our eldest was noooooot impressed apparently we're "an embarrassment "

Tickets got for Galway BRB it was brilliant last year. When to Monroe's after the gig . DJ there till after 2pm. House parties after but I gave the slip home. Too old for the 6am walk of shame home 😄. Loads going here again. We can meet up . Monroe's after if your in Galway for sure

Cafe del mar energy 52 ,Beach Ball, Lost in love , Brightness - Aquaplex. Just reminds me of the clubs in Galway them tunes never get old id the kids listening in on Saturday. Can't wait till the Big Top. The bar is a disaster I'll have hidden going in this year lol or else stash it in the text during the week lol

Went to the Block Rock'n Beats gig in Galway for the Arts Fest last year and it was unreal. The energy, the feeling and the happiness amoung all the people there. Well worth going to. Loads of late 40's and 50 somethings at it as well as younger crowd but everyone mingled and just got caught up in the vibe. And yes it does make you feel young again!! Danced until the earily hours and was buzzing for the night

Love listening to Block Rockin Beats every weekend. Reminds me of the good old days in The Castle in Salthill back in the day. There's a proper Old Skool night on in the Roisin Dubh on 21st June with DJ Gary Crehan. Definitely going to large it!!!

Went to underworld at Forbidden Fruit on Sunday, 120€ for the Sunday ticket to listen to an hour of them!! Not one of my most brilliant ideas!! I honestly never heard of any of the Acts playing that day… so went in late only for underworld … place was full of kids but many of them were leaving when they came on as I guess they never heard of underworld!!

Massive block rocking beats fans here, grew up on the stuff, they just don't make them like they used to. 90's to the early 2000's was a golden age, never to be repeated again! A real soft spot for old school piano.
