Has anyone ever tried this? I've done it a few times and I would highly recommend it. Im doing one in galway next weekend.

I do a lot of different meditation techniques, but nothing has zenned me out more than this does and the effects last for weeks.

"Is it a floatation chamber "
it's a pod with about 2 feet of salt saturated water, so you float.. There is no light, no sound and the water is body temp, so it feels like you are just suspended in space. Not for everyone, but it is amazing.

Definitely want to do this ....must look it up

Floated around a salt water pool in PDI with a couple of female fabbers but really want to be alone with my thoughts in one

I love the floating part, but I think I'd find it too claustrophobic. And being alone with my thoughts sounds frickin awful!!

Might have to put a few quid aside for this and try it. Not terribly claustrophobic, but....

years ago they were called sensory deprivation tanks. I think they changed it to float pods so it didn't sound like a torture chamber.🤣

You can leave the lid fully open/partially open or close it altogether

It's class.. & a great way to absorb magnesium. Really good for fibromyalga & basically all pains & aches as the magnesium is a natural muscle relaxant.

there are 3 or 4 places around the city that do them. Just Google float therapy in galway. There's one that has float rooms rather than pods that might feel a little less claustrophobic
