Aer Lingus starting direct flights to Cancun in the new year.

Used to be a TV show on Chanel 4 about a swingers resort in Cancun. Was mostly people from USA looked amazing

Yeah it’s great news. It’s only from January to end of April and it says fares from €291 each way which is great. It’ll be a long ass flight though, got to be 11 or 12 hours.

I think 11 hours Tft that includes a 1½ hour stop over in USA to top.up on green diesel then over the gulf..

Its Been a few years since I there and would think it's a pretty much closed shop complex by now.

Last I heard the day trips out all had to be canceled due to security risk.

Extremely cheap when you get there and wexicans are the friendless bunch you'll ever meet.

Bring wellies with ya cause ya can't walk on the sand , put ice cubes in them on arrival

Wasn't a good as I had hoped tbh..been to far better places .it's kinda made for tourists on the top end of the scale..looks fancy but very much tacky.

Full of American 18-20 year olds in a drink mess from morning to night..lots of fists fights between them even at pools with kids around

Very hot tho and some mad mouse size insects that come out late afternoon..literly like flying mice

Wouldn't go back .but locals are friendly it's the Americans all that I could see cause the issues.

Cancun!! Brings back bad memories for me. On holiday there I picked up an intestinal parasite from unwashed salad. Lost 3 stone and took 4 months to recover . Just my bad experience of Cancun.

Cancun will cost a small fortune compared to PDI and will take at least two days travel but the resorts are stunning the reason they are so great is you can't leave 🤣😂🤣

US Swimgers, no thanks. The mexicans are lovely folk especially when they find out you're from Ireland. Been to Cancun twice. Yes it's an incredibly long haul.
