So some people hate some of these foods with a passion. I think they are a fairly standard list of commonly eaten items. How many would you make a point of avoiding ...

Mushrooms

Olives

Oysters

Cabbage

Brussels sprouts

Bananas

Anchovies

Marmite

Avocado

Pesto

I would make a point of avoiding 3 of them...

Bananas are the only items on that list that I would enjoy eating.

I could eat avocado if pushed, but the rest would be an absolute no go for me.

I'm a tad picky with food.

Did ye know that banana flavouring was developed from a now extinct breed of bananas and that’s why it tastes nothing like the bananas we eat today.

IMO bananas are only acceptable on pancakes with Nutella

Not sure it's that they aren't interesting, its the taste or texture that people like. For me a banana covered in nutella is still banana 🤮

I might not even risk licking the nutella off if I have to taste the banana

Squished avacado on toast and poached egg...is ruining toast and an egg,

You prob eat bananas for the shape and not the taste..

Olives are awful.

Oysters are like a lumpy snot.

Anchovies are in my Caesar salad dressing Ave Worcestershire sauce and that's as much of them as I want.

Avacado really isn't worth the trouble tbh.

That makes four, although I don't really hate that last two but I certainly wouldn't bother with them.

Mushrooms - Yum, especially wild ones

Olives - yum! Only grew into them in my mid twenties

Oysters- they can fuck off

Cabbage- done right - yum

Brussels sprouts - yum

Bananas - yum

Anchovies can fuck off

Marmite - never tried it 🙈

Avocado - meh. Bland mush. Not offensive enough to hate it. Not exciting enough to love it.

Pesto - yum! Especially homemade ❤

Suprised blue cheese wasn’t on it. I’m getting better and I can handle the milder stuff but some of it is vile!

Best coleslaw ever is Russian Slaw - fine grated carrots with mayo, salt and pepper and freshly grated or pureed garlic to taste. Chefs kiss as a side as well as an awesome topping for a burger 👌

There’s 3 I’d actively run from for me, and herself won’t touch 5 of them. There is a bit of overlap in our lists there, but honestly everything on the list bar oysters can be quite tasty in the right setting.

Randomly too, I won’t touch a banana till it’s basically overripe, but herself won’t touch it if there’s even a spot of brown on the peel.
