Supposedly he's been here before. But it doesn't really matter what your situation is, there's a good few scenes in Dublin I'd recommend

I just kept an eye out on the forums, and the odd one pops up that allows unclarified people. Just sign up, go and chat. Met some awesome people so far. And it's pretty chill and easy going, tea/coffee socials are handy, then I went to rvc meet and greet in Limerick. Always ones popping up. You may have to travel. There is a Midlands charity BBQ in July. Check the forums.

Also, a handy one for beginners is prob the DV8 Sunday social. On most Sundays, and just bar, pooltable, chats. Been meaning to get to another one myself. Very welcoming and alot of people head to them.

In the mountains...

Was a first timer at DV8 Sunday social last weekend and people couldn't be nicer.

Just be yourself and say hello to people.

Matt and Xena who run it are extremely welcoming. Lovely people.
