somewhere

Based on seeing lots of men carrying back packs walking around Dublin city yesterday afternoon

Why do they need back packs

What do you leave the house in the morning with to go to work

Wallet

Phone

Lunch

Water

Car keys

That's it and sometimes I don't even take my wallet as my phone has on my cards on it

Dublin / Meath / Birmingham

📱Phone in the right pants pocket

👛Wallet in the left pants pocket

💨Inhaler in the right jacket pocket

🔑Keys in the left jacket pocket

(before anyone pipes up that's the only emoji that pops up when I type in wallet... I do not carry a pink purse about the place ok...)

Galway

I’m guessing most people with backpacks have laptops/tablets with them and the increase is because of remote working

Belfast

Coffee, keys, wallet and phone.

Only ever used a backpack when out on the mountains.

Went out once last year in France with no wallet and half the card readers in the local shops didn't work off virtual cards on the phone.

A nice rock

Keys

Phone

Wallet

Lunch

Possibly a gym/gear bag if I have something on after

Mine gets left in the car. But if I took public transport I'd definitely be using some form for backpack for all that

Wallet, keys, phone, vape headphones. If I'm heading to work or I'm going on a long trip add a battery pack for my phone and vape case with spare battery and vape juice.

Minutes from Somewhere Else

In no particular order, the contents of my backpack will generally include:

Water

Painkillers

Antacids

Bandaids

Pens

Sunscreen

Moisturizer

Spare hand sanitizer

Mouth wash

Condoms

Lube

Cards

Battery pack

Egg timer (not joking)

Various receipts & print outs

Wallet

Clean socks

Spare earphones

On occasional rotation they'll be a laptop, chargers, change of clothes, toothbrush/paste, cardigan if it's cold.

I like to be prepared.

I get everything...

Except the egg timer...

So, 2/3 mins, it buzzes when time up, it's small, plastic, lightweight,.....

Ah!...

An early experimental dildo device.

He's a busy man. Each woman gets five minutes then it's time to move on.

It's become something of a totem. It's a 3 minute hourglass timer made of hard plastic.

Use it for conflict resolution. Whoever holds the timer gets to say their peace or just watch the sand run out. Either way, it slows tempers & encourages dialogue.

Cork

I love the idea of carrying a backpack to hold all my things when travelling, as a girl I just don't like the look of them on me, but super convenient haha
