We feel that it's all about getting the minds of the people or person involved so it's more about getting the imagination running overdrive without being graphic as there's nothing worse than someone giving graphic descriptions it really puts us off

Much the same as previous contributors I need to kept in engaged , two way street, actions always speak louder , deffo doesn't always need to be sex related (love random topics ) I not here to hear about their shite lives or how world isn't going their way,(but will listen to a point) and if they repeat themselves on the same subject in the same convo , I'm out .

Anything sexual is a no no for me (unless we're actually face to face and the situation warrants it).

I think it's really hard to nail down. Sometimes you just click with someone and talk about all sorts. Even then, people can have times when they just don't feel particularly chatty.

I think sometimes you just click with someone and the chat flows regardless of topic. I think you need to be in the humour though. I try not to reply to some messages until I'm ready to reciprocate any effort made.

I can't stand messages with one line or worse, one word. That conversation is over before it's begun.

I thought I was the only one turned off by immediate sex chat. So glad to see it's not liked by others too.

I also know I'm not here for endless chats or to be someone's emotional support network.

It's weird because a conversation can be flowing and the humour is top notch. Then they just dissappear. Then with others it's like getting blood out of a stone.

So even though we get plenty of messages I'd say 0.01 of them leads to meeting them.

I may never understand this. Has happened to me once in the recent past and still freaks me out. Will never know if it was something I said or did that changed their estimation of me. Really knocked my confidence. Badly.

When it's non-reciprocal and one-sided. When the momentum of the conversation decays and the responses become increasingly infrequent. When you give them lengthy replies with substance and they give you monosyllabic retorts.

When their profile states "need to chat extensively before even considering a social (or whatever)" but fail to follow their own advice and lack any enthusiasm themselves.

Alot depends on my form.

I've had stages where I struggle to keep the interactions engaging and it's been purely because I was having a low energy time off fab.

Some of those conversations rekindle and some don't.

So I'll always also understand if the same happens to others.

Any conversations that's a drag from the start I cut pretty quickly

If you ask a simple question like "how are you doing?" and they don't ask you back, you know what you're in for. Outside of that, probably when they try to mention something that they want or more so want you to spend money on.

I’ve found most conversations are different on here.

You have to strike the balance between being curious about them, their interests, and what they’re looking for, without turning it into the Groundhog Day that is ‘dating app’/Vanilla questions.

I’m going to play Devils advocate, and say with the right person/people on here I really enjoy when it can get a little flirty and sexual. It can really build the anticipation and chemistry before a meet. BUT timing is absolutely everything here, and jumping in straight away clumsily is a huge turnoff. If someone is good with their words, and can hold a conversation and build chemistry by text, it’s usually a good sign for me personally.

Intelligence must be there...both emotional and common.

I try to think about the other person in larger terms than just sex. Mental stimulation is important. I need conversation that shows a wide range of interests.

Unengaging people are boring. Why they are unenhaging is not my issue...that's for them to figure out.

Bottom line is I have to like them for reasons other than the physical.
