For us we find couples let you down more than singles ,

Now granted they have valid reasons each time , be it babysitters, sick kids etc

Just an observation On our behalf

Area 54

I've yet to meet a couple from fab that hasn't backed out for one reason or another. Some could be genuine reasons but mostly pure lies.

Some leave it until you're booking a hotel to back out.

Ive been with couples but none from fab. I'm generally aware to the Messer's but I've nearly been caught out a couple of times.

But it's all part of the fab journey I guess.

.

I tend to stick with a cpl of regular Fab FWB .. “better the devil you know than the devil you don’t” and all that .. it’s just too time consuming and annoying to be getting caught up in shite with timewasters .. I had my share too

I've never even come close to meeting a couple and I've never had a no show but 2 women have given lame excuses on the day we had arranged to meet.

I was plan B for both of them as they had new verifications the next morning.

I have deliberately let 2 couples down when the pleasant ongoing conversations changed tone and became demanding.

Booking and paying for an hotel room that I was only allowed to use with them for an hour but where they were staying the night didn't sit right with me no matter how many verifications they had or how popular they were in the forums.

Driving 5-6 hours each way on a Sunday night to help them get into RVC was another strange demand for a ticket only event especially when they were event organisers themselves.

That’s a little bit of a strange question. Who ever you’re looking to predominantly meet is the one that’s gonna leave you down more.

I’d be looking to meet women and in my experience women have let me down more. Conversely someone only looking to meet single guys is mainly gonna be let down by single guys.

A nice rock

I've never been let down once a was arranged.

Granted I've a average of about 2 years between intiial contact and actually meeting someone. But due diligence pays off

Id imagine because couples have 2 lives to organise they would cancel at short notice genuinely more

We met on fab as two singles and have always sad it was way easier to arrange mets as too singles than as a couple

Single males but that's probably because we don't really meet couples or ladies

Babylon

Couples, but from experience and conversations with other fabbers, some of these "couples", might not infact be couples, so like someone else stated, be careful. Most people that agree to meet, meet, isn't that the excitement of this place?

I find it mildly amusing that when you have been chatting for a bit and you ask for a pic for confirmation if goes dead, especially when they contact you.

Is it too much to ask?

Especially if the profile is only a few months old and 2-3 verifications?

Not much to ask I think.

North Cork

Think a problem with some couples is one half makes plans hoping the other half is up for it

Then when the time comes the pressure and the problems lead to no shows.

We always discuss any meets so that we are both on the same page
