It doesn't matter who the message recipient is, there is no "one size fits all" answer to the question. Read the profile. What is the couple's dynamic? What are they looking for? Does it align with what you're looking for? That's your starting point. Over and above that, most people just want to be treated like human beings and have their preferences respected.

I'm kinda of the opinion that if you don't know what to say to them, then should you be messaging them at all?
