Like a lot of couples we get lots of messages from single guys. Messages range from perfect to the incredulous.

Our biggest annoyance is the guy who behaves as if he's messaging a single girl, completely oblivious to the fact that there message may well be read by the male partner.

So now I reply to a 'hey babe, nice pics wanna meet for some fun" with a simple "No thanks pal I'm not gay"

What surprises me most is the attitude,

it ranges from anger "I was messaging your girl, not you obviously "

to blase "oh sorry, lol, do you wanna come too"

And finally irritation, "what's the harm, I was only paying her a compliment "

Our profile says we don't play separately and also asks guys not to message this way.

My opinion is that either they can't be arsed reading the profile to realise its a couple or they are just pure pond life.

Love to know what other couples think? Does this type of message piss them off to the point of an instant block like it does us or does anyone think it's just a bit of harmless flirting and maybe go ahead and meet?

It's very bad I've had to block all males on my profile cause constantly getting them asking to suck or fuck or commenting on my cock.however to flip the script here I find when I address a couples account and speak to them both and to wat they've included on the bio I get hit with deleted messages or just left on read so let's not blame the single guys only for being unmannered it works both ways if you're not interested just say so better than being ignored and like wise for the singles read a bio or profile make sure they are looking for u if not pass them by

We take fab as a parties and social finder, and if we message anyone is one we have initiated, otherwise we don't entertain other message, socials and parties if a better place personally 🥰

I've had the flip side of this a couple of times.

During covid lockdowns I got messages from 2 couples who posted fairly regularly on the Irish forum.

They both had 50+ verifications and were friendly and chatty.

Any messages I sent referred to them both but in each cases it was the woman doing all the talking.

Any questions I asked about hubby were ignored until eventually one admitted he wasn't meeting anymore and it was just her and the other said she had never had a hubby and was just using the couples profile as a safety net.

We had been chatting away from the site and at various points they had sent selfies of them out walking the dogs or in the garden so I know it wasn't a man pretending in either case.

Neither had any verifications showing, just the summary,so I wasn't able to check those out.

Both conversations fizzled out after a few months but I often wondered about all those people who had verified them and how they had been enabling the deception.

This I hate. Its most often me (Mrs) checking messages and any "can I fuck your Mrs" messages get ignored. If the message is directed at me or a male they are left foe me to deal with and from couples profiles either of us reply and will say who's messaging. If i dont like a mesaage I just delete. It takes a lot to offend me on here- everyone has their own standards and that's fine. Just deal with it the way it suits you. 😊

In fairness there's lots of strange people on here.males,females and couples.suppose it seems that males come across as being bigger offenders cos of the percentage of them on here.i recently had a couple message me out of the blue asking if I had Coke.Nothing else said in the msg,beggars belief.i would imagine it's not something you would ask a complete stranger at the bar without having some idea who they were so why ask a person on here🤷‍♂️🙈

Agree. I find this most offensive. I don't know what the thinking is behind it, more often than not, guys who send 'your missus is hot, I'd fuck her till xmas', apologise when I respond with 'mrs here'. The back peddling is funny. Why be so rude if you didn't mean to be? And how often does that approach work? Never works here but gives me some entertainment value for a few texts until I get bored toying with their small minds and block them.

I'm not part of a couple, but yeah it does sound annoying though. However, I blv you can see a range of these messages without even having to open them to read the details. I'm sure you can tell the messages apart from the first lines, that way you simply bulk delete them. Responding is absolutely a waste of your time..
