My initial reading of OPs post & use of language _as unfavourable and put my hackles up. I had thought of replying _ith barbs of my o_n. Ho_ever... After re-reading and offering - _ith no small amount of difficulty - OP the benefit of the doubt, I'm choosing to read it as an attempt at tongue-in-cheek humour that's landed badly. I _ould like to think that OP _as trying to convey a casual humour such as you might find _hen you're among friends. I'm choosing to believe that they didn't mean to come across as insulting of a community or condescending. The choice of language may have backfired, but it may _ell be that they're a good egg & someone you'd other_ise sink a pint _ith. | |||
