Tell us some facts, or some bits of information that you know, that have absolutely no practical use in every day life, but could win you a few bob in a pub quiz?

I can instantly identify any nation's flag.

I can name all 50 US states and can locate them on a map.

The 'I want my, I want my, I want my MTV' from the Dire Straits song Money for Nothing was sung by Sting and is the same melody as 'Don't stand too, Don't stand too, Don't stand too close to me'.

The melody was owned by Sting's record label so they took legal action and demanded that Sting got a writer's credit despite the fact that Sting didn't want it.

Wouldn't matter - quiz master sets a good quiz! It's challenging without being demoralizing and the banter between rounds is top shelf.
