Traffic was def quiet this morning I'd say if people didn't have the day booked off there is def a lot of sickies being pulled. Our school was on today but I'm off so doing some spring cleaning and enjoying the morning peace.

I set(t) my own agenda, so there may be road blocks and cul de sacs on the fab journey but there will always be light at the end of the tunnel/burrow/sett.

All the ones near me were closed so it was great

Apart from the one student walking to school unaware the school was closed

Been in bed sick over weekend. So up at 8am, got the lawns mowed by 9.45am. First time this year.

Anyone else ever hear how it's supposed to be bad luck to cut grass before St Patrick's day??

Never heard that but I remember how the spuds had to be in before that day. Then we discovered other varieties of spuds as well. I'm not sure if we ever had them in by then at home as the ground was usually still too wet. I do remember a 92 year old neighbour nearly killing himself trying to make sure he had them in in time one year, as if the ground would reject them a day later. Mad stuff.
