The drugs work. Sure pharma companies are in it to make money but as an end user of said drugs, they are saving my life on a daily basis. I've worked in one for 21yrs and was actually on one of their cancer drugs.

Advancements in research and new drugs means they are more targeted and specific. Better long term hope therefore.

Your second thought is normally way better then your first. Don't worry you won't come over as indecisive, just thoughtful.

There was no price tags. I asked my boss about it and he picked up a hammer and asked me what I thought it was worth. I said €8. Right he said. See if you can sell that for €8

That was it. I learned the prices of everything in the shop by estimating what the customers might pay for them.

Don't be mean for the sake of being mean to new starters or the young ones just starting out. Don't keep your knowledge to yourself and then moan about them knowing nothing. Everyone has to start somewhere. You want them to be valuable contributors in the work place? Then invest your time and effort in helping them be just that. Don't dismiss their ideas as useless without first giving it thought. Encourage questions, take time to explain not just what to do, but why you're doing it.
