I have a best friend since we were school kids. Couldn't be without each other. Ever a cross word in 50 years and always have each others backs.

I have always been my own best friend and I believe by being good to myself it puts me in the position of having my "house in order" so that I am then able to share the goodness in my life with others.

My 3 best friends are all people I met through fab, two of whom are no longer here and the third is pretty obvious to anyone paying attention.

I don't have any school friends or former work colleagues that I'm still in touch with.

My entire circle of friends are either family or people I've only known in the last 10-12 years.

For me having a best friend is important because I know there is always someone willing to listen and support and that works both ways.

Yes, I have a best friend since we were 17teen, could go a week or 3 without chatting and always pick up as if it were only yesterday we were chatting. I feel full of energy the next day after being out for pints the night before with him, some craic, is my bestie

I had a best friend who died, I miss him every day, he was exactly like me and he was the guy I could ring at 4am.if I was knee deep in trouble with no questions asked, he knew about fab and doing himself, best friends are rare so look after them

I've learnt over the last few years who I can depend on and know they are a phone call away. I've also learnt who are the fairweather friends

It took many years to work out the last one, but definitely glad I was able to, eventually!
