What makes you feel nervous no matter how many times you do it? 😊

"What makes you feel nervous no matter how many times you do it? 😊"

Walking in to a new person at a coffee meet. I hold my partners hand tightly, I am looking at him for reassurance, I am starting to hyperventilate a bit.

I'm fine when it starts, it's the few mins leading up to it I get stage fright!

One of my jobs

I have absolutely no control over what will happen for up to 10 hours and I get nervous driving there sometimes

Once I'm in there I'm not nervous at all no matter what is happening

I can't remember the last time I felt nervous.

One of the joys of suffering from anhedonia, there are no moments of nervous anticipation or excitement.

Definitely the run up to Fab socials/meetups. Can't be helped, generally within a few minutes I'm totally at ease though. I think it's more just a "oh what do they think of me" type thing. I'm not an overly confident person.

I did have it for public speaking and felt nauseous/sweaty palms etc at the thought. Then I bit the bullet and took on a role in my work that had me speaking in front of rooms full of people (usually about 25-40 of a crowd) regularly and am pretty ok with it now.

Used to get it flying but I'm alright now, same with dentist visits.

When speaking in front of 25 to 40 people just picture them all naked

That works for fab socials and work
