Have to ask a question and feel I'll get a different of answers here.its not to so with me but I was out last night with friends. One of my pals brought his girlfriend out for drinks with us but someone she knew walked into the pub and she jumped up and gave kiss now this man has a few years in here but took us all by surprise when she done he got pissed off bit she just said ah it's so and so it's nothing. Is he right to go mad about it and is she in he wrong for doing it

I kiss female friends to say hi sometimes. I don't think it's strange for a girl to do the same.

I guess if it was a full on snog then most people might have a problem. I guess it wasn't though.

How did your friend react? Was he angry and shouting? If so perhaps he has some issues and he is best off dealing with them himself.

If she was my daughter and her boyfriend reacted like that I would be encouraging her to get the fuck away from him.

To be fair to him his the most laid back person I know I think it all took him by surprise how fast she jumped up and went for the kids no wasn't a full on snog big was definitely longer then it should have been. Think what tipped him over the edge was that we were talking about trust and he had nothing but praise for her then that happened was he angry yeah shouting no

It all depends on what was meant by 'I'm yours, you're mine'. It reeks of a controlling man to me. I wouldn't put up with that whether we were monogamous or not.

I live in a very kissy European world of people where it's very normal to kiss in greeting so I wouldn't personally see any problems.

It sounds to me like the disconnect is between the protagonists in this story. She acted in a way that was unexpected and this upset him. Neither of those things are particularly egregious in and of themselves but together and for a couple it looks like they don't understand or don't respect each others boundaries.
