"I dont believe in diets. Eat 3 filling and healthy meals a day. Watch portion size. Healthy snacks. I stop eating at 8pm. Exercise with weights. I recently lost almost 4kilos. Been a gym goer all my life and eat healthy enough. Allow the odd treat also, life is too short not to. Any change has to be sustainable and enjoyable. " Dieting isn't cutting off food and starving yourself to lose weight, it is eating the right amount of nutrition your body needs to function. If you wanna lose weight you can find food that has less calories but enough protien and carbs to maintain your body. It's good to have a calorie deficit and healthy snack and doing some exercises and you'll lose weight. It's all about discipline | |||

"I've lost a ton of weight with intermittent fasting. It's easier for me because I work shift. It's not a strict thing I just put off eating the first meal about 12 hours from the last one" Intermittent fasting, cut way back on sweet treats and reduced my bread intake, dropped a dress size and feel so much lighter in myself in about 4-6 weeks. This also eased alot of joint pain. | |||

"How long approx to lose 3-4 stone in a healthy way?" The recommended amount of loss is 2lbs per week. The reason being is that small changes in eating habits is what happens. I was told that you to fit in the gym and slim in the kitchen. Loads of good advice.given above on diets. | |||

There are way too many factors that affect it. The only definite thing is 3 to 4 stone won't fall off over night it you do want it done in a healthy maintainable way. | |||

A balance diet You need to be in a calorie deficit in order to lose weight. Increase your protein intake, it will keep you satiated for longer and stop you snacking.
