Agree in most cases. They did a good job with Top Boy on Netflix

It’s a great little watch. Just a heads up that on Netflix it starts with ‘Top Boy Summerhouse’ which was originally on C4. Easy to miss that 👍

Love/Hate

RTÉ has said it has "no plans" for a new series of Love/Hate after actor John Connors said production was due to begin later this year.

Connors appeared on Virgin Media's Six O'Clock Show on Thursday and told hosts Brian Dowling and Katja Mia that the gritty crime drama would be back on screens next year.

He said: "Yeah. It is coming back. It's going into production later this year, so it'll be out next year. Seriously, this is an exclusive. I wasn't meant to say it until tomorrow. I'm being serious, hand on my heart.

"I can't reveal the plot or anything, but yeah. I'll be in it and I can't really reveal who else is in it but it's going ahead again. It's very, very exciting but it's a long time since we did it."

In response to Connors' Virgin Media interview, an RTÉ spokesperson said: "There are no plans for a new series of Love/Hate. Fans can watch all five series on RTE{¬zIE=¬} Player."

Following the interview, Connors shared a video on his Instagram account insisting that Love/Hate would return, but not on RTÉ

I don't think Fran would have recovered from his internal injuries 🎱

Before we all get too giddy. John Connors seems to be the only one shopping this all over town. RTE have said no involvement, and they commissioned it originally, so I’d have guessed they own the rights. Netflix haven’t commented either when asked 🤔
