Ladies, I'm curious, as you're scrolling through the profiles on fab, do you ever see one that makes you stop and want to send the first message?

Or do you get enough messages into your inbox on a daily/weekly basis that you don't feel the need to?

I know the ladies get swamped with first messages by us over eager males especially new people. And I know one or two ladies do send the first message but in general, by the majority, is it done?

If I see a profile that piqued my interest, yes I would send a first message. It doesn't happen very often though, in fact I and I can't remember the last time I did.😆

Yes I have done.I have no issue with sending a first message to someone. It can be an easier way to find someone I would be interested in,than expecting them to message me. Plus I have filters tighter than a ducks ass in order to stop most messages anyhow.

Yeah I do sometimes. It could be in response to a forum post or after meeting at a social. I'm not one for browsing random profiles.

For me every engagement in the last few years - from libations to dalliances - has been on the back of the lady sending the introductory message.

I rarely message other than friends and forum dwellers or because of some forum thread, game, challenge or competition.

So yes, women do indeed send the first message. Perhaps more women should.

You are aware that she didn't come out of her mother's womb with her profile hidden? It's reasonable to assume that when she's messaging and actively engaged that perhaps her profile is in fact 'unhidden'.
