I've told the story of my first fab meet when I was physically attacked and which was dangerous and crazy. It taught me a lot of lessons though about people and their lack of communication so in that way no regrets.

There are people I have met who have turned out to be the exact opposite of who they pretend to be on the forums but again no personal regrets because I've seen their true selves. Possibly some regret at how easily they have fooled others but then again it's not up to me to hold everyone's hand.

On few occasions some fabbers were saying things about us that are not true. It hurts first few times, and now seems to bother less when it happens.

I’m in the lifestyle for 7 years now and I did have disappointing experiences, really bad experiences and experiences which I regret being part of. But it’s all a journey… more than a sexual journey… it helped me know myself better, helped me discover new things about myself…. Made me doubt myself many times, but also made me love myself more. Not to mention the amount of amazing people I have had the luck to meet in my journey who turned into lifelong friendships ❤️

And speaking of disappointing experiences… I just had one this morning… a couple messaged and we had a super good initial conversation until I mentioned that I have a couples profile, thing which made them call me ‘pathetic’ and blocked me… 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think the biggest rule we learned, and it seems counterintuitive for this is site, is don't be led by your bits.

Early on we jumped too early at a few things because we were horny, excited to jump into it, and thought we needed to. Reflecting on them afterwards we realized we didn't get what we were looking for out of it. We have since changed our approach, are more patient, and have been much more happy with the experiences we have.

I have learnt that I am Demisexual and I need to be led by my bits. In that my bits don't respond to very many people. Even conventionally attractive people, if I don't see or that spark that combines with mine there's nothing.

I made the mistake once of playing anyway and I was really put off because I saw the other person as being all grabby hands and wished he had of asked, had to fend him off actually.

I also have seen people having sex and I've just been so put off. I see now it was because I just didn't see those people as sexy. It wasn't their lack of attractiveness.

I haven't had any bad experiences. I'm cautious and discerning, and that has served me well. I'm not led by my cock, and only meet people I find attractive, and I'm patient enough to wait for the right people. Slow and steady. Strangely , 2024 was my least busy year on Fab, so, either I've changed or Fab has changed, I'm not sure which.

Good point, and I completely agree. Attraction, and connection (which I think is key in someone's sexiness and attraction), is such a key part of it as well.

I think we were overly keen to just get into things that made us overlook that important part of the process for us.

To be fair I've not had many bad experiences in my time here but there was one couple profile recently who were downright rude for no reason whatsoever. So after that I decided to make some changes. Its a pity cause it could be a great place here, but some ppl have notions about themselves.

I had one really bad experience shortly after joining here. I made contact with this particular lady initially through another site. At first I thought she was just wild but then I realised it was more than that. She decided that we were meant to be together despite us agreeing the boundaries in advance of the first physical contact.

It became very stressful for a while as she ended up finding my business contact details as well as my home address and started writing letters and emails as well as ringing at all hours.

It took a serious turn when she showed up in person once and then I hit really worried. It took a while to shake her off but eventually she gave up having threatened Gardaí and everything else on her.

It took me a while to get back in form after that.
