Single men and putting ourselves out there

I was just wondering not many people look for a single man on this that arent verified or havent met up with someone before and me being single myself i see that it puts us into an impossible situation as how are we meant to have verifications if no one would be willing to meet up or try i know it sounds egotistical but its the truth. Is there anyway to try and get ourselves out there while being safe and respecting other peoples rules

The best way to start is to look to your profile. The bare minimum isn't going to cut it when there's guys that just try harder.

You don't need to have pro photos or bio that read likes fifty shades but you do need to find a way to show people what you look like and have some idea about your personality.

It's about attraction. Right now there's nothing in your profile too be attracted to.

Look at other guys profiles. Especially the ones who have verified the women you like the look of. That's the bar.

After that. Attend a few social events that are open to unverified members.

I know it's easy to say but verifications are not everything. It's tough getting started I know we've all been there. But there are a lot more options to get verified these days than before people run newbies verification meets etc

Verifications are not the be all and end all for private meets. For events you will have to have them even to attend. All events have to be vetted. But then many of those event organisers do special newbie events so that new people can get verified. Sometimes there is a verification thread on here too.

So the main thing is, get to a newbies event, then start attending other events.

There's way too many single males on here. Many of them are married so single males often get tarred with the same brush and discounted. It's so hard to tell the difference as the cheating ones are very sneaky. That makes many women and couples defensive in the first place.

So real life events are better because it's you putting your money were your mouth is.

Well put.

To me;

Verifications show that you exist and aren't a scam account.

Men don't have to meet a lady to get verified and Vis versa. Getting a verification can be easy depending on where you are, Dublin has Dv8 socials on Sunday, midlands have Ladynred coffee socials etc. get to one of those types of events will get you a verification.

If you aren't in areas with socials, I've seen people travel for hours to attend social events, so.....

But getting a verification isn't what the purpose of those meets are really for, it's to socialise with like minded people.

And some of those people are on the scene for years, are well known in the social circles and can really help if you have questions, like how to get an invite to private parties, etc.

I found i ended up messaging back and forth with more people after a single event than all the time I have spend sending random messages.

So, events are what I suggest...

A word on your bio; it feels to me like it's written using chatGPT. Whilst I'm not totally against it per se, the text of your bio feels incongruous with how your post is written. I think if you're going to use AI to write your profile you need to make the effort to ensure you add some of your own personalilty, otherwise it's just cookie cutter words.

Another word on your age (again I think this was something you brought up in your previous incarnation); you can't do anything about it but you need to be realistic about the fact you might be too young for many

ChatGPT/Gemini includes one particular thing in every dating bio it writes so they actually stick out like a sore thumb when you know what to look for.

Use it for inspiration but if your gonna copy and paste just beware that it's more common than it think and easily spotted.

To me a Veri only shows you're a genuine, real person & you do actually exist other than that it serves no purpose, you never see or read a bad Veri simply because if it isn't seen as a good one it's never put up BUT a Veri is seen by others as a secure way of seeing a person actually exists,that's all , it's peace of mind in ways ok but because you'd have a Veri certainly doesn't mean you're everyone's cup of tea , far from it , everyone has a type & rightly so.

OP, echoing what the above gentlefolk have said it's best to get yourself to a social or two. Have no agenda or expectations other than to meet people, expand your network of forum acquaintances and just enjoy yourself and make a favourable impression. Hopefully you'll get a few verifications to show what a jolly good fellow you are.

Verifications don't guarantee meets but they are the feather in the cap which solidifies your profile.

Disregard those who say that verifications aren't important; they are, for single men. (It's usually those with verifications that will say otherwise)

Veris serve a purpose on here !!!!

You’ll find it hard to meet anyone without them and most parties or socials won’t accept you without being verified or recently verified.

You’ll never see a bad veri cause no one would put one up that they received obv!

Well I just had a recent experience. A couple saying they're looking for cuckold fun. I messaged them asking is it they want a cuck to join them or they want to be fucked, I then proceeded to be blocked. Where the justice in that? I found it's yet again prejudice against a single ald because you ask a question, where in my question is it justify to block me? No skin off my nose of it happens once in 1/100 but this is the case 3/10

They don't need to justify it. There is no entitlement to replies.

It's a website where people are free to not interact with anyone they wish.

The people who find this concept hard to understand are usually the people that preemptive blocks are used to avoid explaining that to.
