I could go to the GP during the week but they're pretty awful. What do you guys do for sinus or migraines? Any interesting remedies? I don't want to constantly rely on good old lemsip

for sinus clearance , rub your forehead just above your nose on both sides, I.e just above the inner corner of each eyebrow in a circular motion for 1 minute

Then below the eyes start at the nose and massage outwards towards the ears with firm pressure in a single stroke motion do this for 1 minute too , helps clear sinuses

This plus pinch your nostrils and blow hard through your nose, see if it pops in your ears if not oilbas in hot water and breathe it in slowly and repeat blowing your nose with your nostrils pinched closed.

Sinutab is a good drug as well.

If you have regular sinus issues, you may have an allergy. Common causes are dairy and wheat/gluten. Cut those for at least 3 months to clear those out of your system.

Immediate relief by steam inhalation as mentioned - head over a pot of steaming water with eucalyptus or olbas oil. Repeat regularly.

Alternatively do a sinus rinse with salt water - inhale salt water while letting that flow out of your mouth. You can buy these in a pharmacy and get clear instructions. It's not pleasant but works a treat.

Migraines - you need to find your trigger and avoid it. Often stress, dehydration, tiredness, hormonal imbalances, trauma etc can be triggers.

Make sure to get enough sleep in a well ventilated room with no electronics, plenty of water, Celtic salt for all your essential minerals, steer clear of stimulants, eat as clean and natural as possible.

I go for regular acupuncture and occasional chiropractor treatments which help. There are other alternative therapies like osteopathy, homeopathy, craniosacral therapy as well as various types of massage which may bring relief or reduce the severity and number of migraine attacks.

Working pressure points, using a Shakti mat regularly, feet in hot water while ice around neck and shoulders can bring relief.

And I've recently got a gimmick from China which is a band around the head which inflates and deflates electronically - like a blood pressure sleeve.

Lots of ideas there. Hope something might work for you.
