"I have a couple of questions I'd love help with, please Firstly, WHY is it so hard for men to get a meet on this site? Are all the women just fake??? Ok.. JOKING!!!! My actual questions are.. Is it possible to block people with no profile pics to view my profile? Also, I'm sure I have my filters set so people have to have public pics to message me but they're still getting through. And we haven't messaged previously. Is there a way around this? "Yes, there is an option to block messages from profiles without any public pics (At least I think there is?🤔). Just double check your filters.. As for your first question...that remains a mystery 🤷♂️😜 | |||

"Open to correction, as always, but I understand "message filters" only prevent the selected group from messaging you or replying directly to your posts on the forums and does not prevent anyone from viewing your profile. The only way you can stop someone from looking at your profile is to block them specifically. " Message filters don't prevent anyone from replying directly on the forums. Even a block doesn't as long as you don't specifically refer to being blocked. Blocking anyone with no public pics isn't sure proof as all they have to do it make one pic public long enough to send the message and then hide it again | |||

" Only if it's a direct attempt to circumvent the block, to further aggravate, etc. A normal on-topic forum interaction with someone who has blocked you should not ordinarily result in a forum ban. OP, the filters are message filters only - you can't stop a whole subset of members from viewing your profile. The only way is to block each person individually. The message filter for public photos includes the profile picture but as RB said already it's easy to bypass and that probably explains why you occasionally get messages from profiles without public photos. I rarely, if ever, look at who has viewed my profile as it's kinda irrelevant so I stay in blissful ignorance 😊 | |||

"I remember there was a woman on here that was giving out that people she had blocked were replying to her in threads. A mod chimed in to say that was perfectly fine as long as the person wasn't trying to use the forum to circumvent the block and the reply was relevant to the thread."  | |||

And as RB said above, we generally have no idea whether a person has another blocked or not so I would think circumventing filters isn't in most people's minds.. | |||

Those with no profile picture can still message if they have other public photos. | |||
