Do high heels get easier to wear over time or do they always hurt like a bitch?

With practice they become easier but a good fit is essential. If the fit is poor they will never be comfortable. Only good for posing in pictures otherwise.

They should not hurt, really. The ones that hurt are either too small or are not made for your feet. Personally, I have high feet arches, so standard tight lacing boots are not for me. For pointy shoes, I use silicone pads that prevent the foot sliding into the narrow part of the shoe, to save toes from being squashed together.

I broke my toe when I fell wearing ridiculously high heels years ago so now the only heels I can wear (about 5 inch heel) are ones that have a platform sole. It balances the weight on my toes so I can wear them all night...even in bed with out the pressure on my toes!

No and yes!

A wedge would be your best friend, but of course don't have the same sex appeal!

The most important thing is well-chosen shoes, proper posture and walking technique....remember not to walk on stiff legs, relax. walking to the rhythm of music it helped me a lot.. I love dancing, currently I practice high heels dance

Donegal and Galway generally

A good quality pair makes all the difference suede ones are quite comfy and as said above relax when wearing.

A wedge isn’t as easy as most think they are heavier and blocky to move! A heel can be easier

Should Tall Girls / Gurls bother with heels?

Are they just a cliché?

While I have heels, I feel a bit 'Cartoon Character' Tall in them

Your thoughts?

Putting heels on can feel amazing it really does depend on the heel and the wearer if you can walk comfortably in them. I would suggest thick wedge heels rather than stiletto heel to walk in and a good fitting heel is easier to wear mens feet can be wider so don,t squash yourself in. Practice and it does get easier. Don't start with 4 inch stiletto :D and remember many women struggle in heels too.
