I would suggest physical connection only for FB and FWB for me includes being friends at least on some level.

I haven't ever really experienced having a FB and don't think it would suit me, much prefer a connection on more than just a physical level.

Fb is a fuck buddy. Just sex. Not for me personally. FWB. Friend with benefits. A friend to hang out with, curl up on the sofa with, get food together, socials together and so on. And sometimes have sex together. Almost impossible to find.

Of course, however, I hope, being an adult, they’d also let me know from the start what they expected. Better that everyone knows from the start. There’s no hidden surprises later down the line.

Yep I agree with others FB is someone you get on with and want to have sex with but that's it.

FWB you build a friendship as well and hang out together when you meet as well as have sex .

I've had both and definitely prefer a fwb situation.

But you both have to be on the same page for it to work.

Definitely agree with the other posters that fwb is more if a connection than turn up fuck and leave. That's more of a booty call. Definitely relies on the good sex aspect where a fwb has the sex and connection that I'd be looking for

Have never known too many to be into the whole 'good morning' 'good evening' nonsense unless they're dating tbh.

We became closer through lots of chatting, we usually spend at least 3 hours chatting as well as shagging. But we don't text each other or socialise outside of that at all. My understanding would be think of your own circle of friends, some closer than others. Wether you communicate on a daily basis, or weekly, meet for coffee lunch dinner regularly, but I suppose in this lifestyle the Benefits being with a person you connect with on numerous levels would include sex. That's my 2 cents worth
