This post has absolutely tugged at my heart strings.

I'm genuinely sorry to read you're going through such turmoil.

I'm sorry I don't have much advise for you, as you seem to have tried anything I'd have thought about recommending.

Getting out there and increasing your social circle may be wise. Join a travel group or some sort of other hobby group. Perfect time now with the new year upon us.

Keep strong, you've got more strength than you ever thought you had.

2025 will be a better year for you pg ❣️

Here I’m in this lifestyle to be a part of a community that listens and supports others that understand it. For me it’s not about meeting up for a quick fuck and go. I’d help anyone that understands the lifestyle and the community.

So sorry to hear about your pain. Grief/loss is often incredibly painful, and whilst for many it becomes more bearable with time (and often takes a long time), there can be many blocks to processing loss that might explain why it feels so raw. As strange as it might sound, the pain might not actually be about the person you met, but could be about someone or something more profound. A relationship ending effectively opens up a whole can of worms for us all. Additionally, working so hard to keep your mind active seems like good, well-intentioned advice. Used too much, however, staying active can be a form of emotional avoidance that blocks the processing of emotion. I know all too well about this. Same with talking to friends - a good strategy, but used in the wrong way it can quickly become a form of rumination which is problematic and again is a form of avoidance of dealing with the issue at hand. Great that you reached out to a counsellor. It may be that this was too short, not the right type of approach, or was focused on the wrong problem. It might be that you need more of it or a more in depth form of therapy - psychotherapy. Your feelings are a useful lighthouse in very choppy and difficult waters at the moment. Key point though is you can find a way through this and wish you all the best moving forward.

I feel your pain Brother, was in a similar situation myself very recently. Despite meeting many great women since, my heart and mind always goes back to her. She was special and I’m sure she was the one. I done the same, read books, talked to friends and tried counseling but it only ever helped short term. The only advice I can give you is that time is a great healer and I hold out hope that everything happens for a reason. If it’s meant to be, it’ll be. The universe works in weird and mysterious ways. Stay strong and know your own worth.

Always here if you ever need a chat just drop me a PM anytime fella.
