Discuss.

I thought Ireland was a lot smaller before the motorways were built, but that’s just my opinion?

Depends on how open you are

Some people attend parties and socials without ever posting on the forums

Some couples only meet other couples or single men / women and are very much hidden

It's the forums that people are recognised except if you just see an eye .....not easy to find someone based on an eyeball

But when the eyeballs are so exquisite they're worth finding 🤣

No country or area is too small for swinging as it’s a wish or desire for many people. Probably less or no more than 3% of population but still a good few people to make apps etc viable..

Clubs we found them too small compared to our swinging club scene in Paris clubs and saunas and our favourite Fun4Two in NL. So maybe not big enough to have regular clubs like Sunday afternoon in Fun4Two

I think the reality is if you live outside of the major population areas, you start running out of locals real quick. Although there's something to be said about avoiding too local.

I think it also depends on the part of Ireland you are in. If you're in Dublin or a city you have better chances of meeting people

Obviously the larger cities have a more diverse population. But essentially the swing scene is small in Ireland. Agree that conservatism has a large role too. I wonder what would bring it into more mainstream arena. Other than the 2 Johnny's 😅

I personally think it's too small. Irish families were huge with a very wide relation base spread across the country..... You have to do a bit of chatting to rule out the possibility of bumbling into a cousin etc....

No. If you're open about this stuff then you've nothing to hide and no reason to be concerned about being seen.

Individuals can make choices for themselves. The mainstream doesn't matter. They can keep their shame. Liberation happens on an individual level person by person.

It’s a massive difference in the swing scene compared to UK or the US, the difference being Ireland is a bit more conservative compared to the other countries

Only a big parish really. Most only one degree of separation between most of us if we delve in to it properly

I agree. Rural areas appear to be less populated with swingers

Whatever about an eyeball it is virtually impossible to recognise anyone in public from a dic pic.

I guess the reason most guys use one is to be discreet rather than to advertise their assets. 🍆😎🙈

I don't think so but I wouldn't be classed as a swinger anyway. There's a very healthy scene and I enjoy the crossover for more niche proclivities too, which I really enjoy. I think if you're willing to cast the net far and wide in your mindset and interactions, the scene can be immensely rewarding.

I don't think keeping to one group or one type of event appeals to me. It can become a little bit of a cesspit if you keep visiting the same pool if you get me. I always think there's room for more and those that try and facilitate events here in Ireland should be supported.

Not small giving rural Ireland. Let’s face it someone living deep in the country is hardly gonna bump into anyone from Dublin. And with the location setting you’ll know quickly enough if your country neighbour is on fab. Definitely still to conservative

I tend to agree.

Same people at the same socials leaving the same veri’s doesn’t particularly help.
