I've always said there aren't as many fake profiles as some make out and they are very easy to avoid.

Fake people though are a whole different encyclopedia.

These things take time.. look at the ratio of men to women on here.. there's ALOT of options for women to choose from.. best advice is go to socials and build up connections that way and hopefully get invited to events.. my best advice would be always go with no expectations and you will never be disappointed if you don't get with someone
