So if D pelicot had a fab account….

Single male profiles seem to be the bane of fabsw and granted some of those men prosecuted may have had single male profiles. But reading the news some of these men have had Dominic over for their own wives/gf …. So couple profiles may be equally as bad…

I am guessing if he had fab… he would be verified, might have even supported the site, possibly attended the socials or parties…🤷🏿‍♂️

I got the impression that he was active, not Fab but something.

If it was a more kink related sitr then that's reinforcing the perception that kink community is about abuse and assault. It's really not, but it's not sexy to write a passage about extensive negotiation and agreements reached in a smut book. 50 shades and many other medias have a lot to answer for.

I picked up somewhere early in the trial that he had asked his wife if she would swing with him, and she said no. No is a full answer. The level of entitlement to then help himself to his wife's body, betray her trust, humiliate her against her knowledge. The whole thing is sickening. As for the other men....

Echoes of "how do I convince my wife to swing"....

If there are lessons to be learned, I hope it will make everyone more careful to ensure consent is explicitly obtained, and to speak out when something appears in the slightest bit shady

The idea that these men were completely unaware she wasn't consenting was complete nonsense imo. So from a lessons to be learnt point of view, people can just be POS and i don't think there's anything that will change that.

That's the festive spirit, profiling what hypothetical type of Fab account someone who organises the mass rápe of his wife would have if he were on here 🎄🎅🎁👀

There are three lesson's to be learned and non of these have anything to do with single males - they are for everyone.

1. Consent should be received explicitly from the person you are playing with - not a spouse, not a friend, not the last person they played with. It must be received from them directly and at the time not prior or after.

2. Someone unc0nsci0us or even semi concious cannot give consent. It doesn't matter if they are accompanied by a spouse, partner, fwb etc - they cannot give consent - refer back to point 1.

3. Men were at the centre of this - not single men but a married man and men who may have been single / attached or otherwise. There is a serious problem with men and violence. When guys wonder why women don't just jump at an opportunity to sleep with any guy in their in box remember that this case now adds a level of fear to every women that hadn't already thought about this possibility- that they could be dru99ed and r@9ed in their sleep by someone they trusted. This is added to the fears of 'just going for a run', 'just walking home from work at night', 'just getting a taxi home', 'he was a friend', 'but you didn't say no', 'but you were wearing lacy knickers', 'but you wanted it an hour ago'....

The 'not all men' crowd will be lining up to counteract this and there will be some questioning why women are less afraid of a bear in the woods than being with a guy alone.

This woman faced up to 50 bears and won. The reality is though she still wears the scars of those 50 bears.

So yeah this has nothing to do with single male profiles on fab - but it has a lot to do with all men and calling out misogyny, subtle aggressions and low level bad behaviour.

'But men get r@9ed too...' yes but by who? Other men.

What lessons are to be learnt. Well the only one that needs to be learnt is that consent is vital and by not gaining consent you are a sexual predator. There is no excuses that excuse people doing what they did or do in this situations.Everyone who saw what happened, took part and even those men who seemingly refused to take part are complicate in what happened. They should have informed the authorities.

And this is not a one off case either I am sure.

Look on the forums any given day there are usually men saying they are wanting to hold a gangbang with an unnamed woman who is up for it. And look at them men who jump into these threads thinking it's a great idea and wanting to turn up and just fuck her, not knowing who she is ,if she actually is consenting to this,in fact not knowing any single thing about her at all. And while yes some of these situations may be genuine some are most definitely not. Like the people who want to set up their partner unknowingly because they want to play around, and their partner obviously doesn't,they think this underhand way is fine and yet again men jump into those thread and have no issue at all about doing this to an unsuspecting woman. Sure it's all fine as long as they get their dicks wet.

I don't believe for one minute that most men are bad and have no morals, most men I have know and known have been decent men who would never think of not getting consent. But there are the scum of the earth who don't care as long as they get their dicks wet.

The only lessons I can see is that people need to be aware these things happen and to report any suspicions and do not partake in anything without consent. And this is not gender specific it goes for everyone.

I hope it makes the sexual predators more aware that they can and will be caught and face the consequences of their actions.

And personally I am in awe of the woman who was abused over and over by the one person who should have been her rock and protector and his cretins who agree to do what they did. She is an amazing woman to go to court and face those scumbags. That must have been horrific for her and she is an amazingly brave woman.
