So for the guys what are the pitfalls to avoid when buying crimbo lingerie and for the ladies what’s your preference.. traditional or super slutty.. is it always red as a preference this time of year..? I’m sure all us guys could do with advice.. let’s hear from you.

Red doesn’t look great on my skin tone (ginger) so black or purple is better. I’d also say make sure you know what size you need/want.. nothing worse than it being too small or miles too big..

As for traditional or “slutty” as you said.. I think I prefer a bit of class. I also think I’d prefer to buy the lingerie for him as it’s more of a present for him than me. (As in he gets to enjoy me in it.. not that he’s wearing it 🙈)

I bought a voucher once in a very up market sexy lingerie store , didn't realise they also sold the flurriest / snuggliest pjamas , couldn't blame her should of been more specific on me taught process, !!! But they make for a lovely spoon !!!

I'm another one who doesn't suit red - it can be a tricky colour to wear, so unless you're very VERY sure it's her colour, stick with black (with maybe a pop of colour)

I always think of the father Ted episode… deep in the lingerie section..

Skin tone is worth noting.. I think vouchers are so unsexy to handover though.. just my humble opinion
