Lonely Christmas Coffee

So Christmas is a mixed bag for me. I have access of my kids until December 26th and then they go to their Dad for new year. It can leave the days after Christmas a bit lonely.

If anyone is feeling lonely over the extended Christmas period and would like to perhaps arrange a social coffee for chats/walks in the N/E area, drop me a pm and see what can be arranged.

This would literally be a hand of friendship during what can be a difficult time for some people.

(Also very likely going to be still recovering from shoulder injury so will be day time only).

Xxx

Great initiative for singles, particularly seperated parents, navigating joint custody.

A good few pm's through - just to clarify though I won't be meeting one to one - this is purely a social to stave off the dip that happens after Christmas as a single parent - for others it could be for other reasons.

Hoping provisionally thinking the 29th - afternoon coffee and a walk in one of the local parks close to Monaghan/Louth.

Looking forward to a nice walk on the 29th. Hopefully the rain will stay away.

......

Brill idea.

It might be the start of a regular walking/coffee meet group for that area.

Best of luck and have a safe and peaceful Christmas.

I'm not recovering as quickly as I had hoped so not sure if I will be able to make this happen but please feel free to use this thread or create your own to meet up over Christmas.

In a lot of pain the last couple of days and just in a very unpredictable stage of recovery xx

I'm sorry to read this. May you have a speedy recovery.

Ps I know the feeling. I just missed RVC due to bronchitis and it's still lingering.

To all those on there own, may they follow your lead!
