Like the women of fab I always wanted a real Action Man

For some reason Santa got me an action figure of The Lone Ranger with his horse and all his accessories...camp fire, camp bed, guns

Absolutely loved it and played with it for years

It's still in my attic somewhere ....50 odd years later

The present i always wanted was a set of racing cars that were free with zkellogs cornflakes.

We weren't eating enough to collect tokens for two sets so I sent off enough to get my brother a set for his September birthday with a note to say what they were for.

When they arrived I was proud and jealous at the same time. He was a September baby and the offer was going to be done by Christmas so I knew there wasn't a hope of gathering up another set of tokens.

I was 8 and he was 6.

Just before Christmas a package arrived with my name on it - it was a second set of cars and a letter from Kellogs wishing me a happy Christmas 😊. Definitely added to the magic of Christmas that year for me.

That is the best post I’ve read in a long time, very heartwarming on a chilly day.

Got some crappy rip off with a harrier jet.

Long consigned to the bin as I'd say action man would have been too

I’m a very humble man. My daughter asked me last week what I wanted for Xmas. Told her a new mop because I broke the other one. So time will tell if I get a mop for Xmas. I did mention socks and boxers but I think most dads get them anyway 😎. Oh if I could wish for something it would be for 2 new back tyres for the aul transit van😎

I imagine a lot of stuff ends up like this! I remember getting a remote controlled car that could “jump” over things. It looked so cool in the ad but the thing had trouble jumping over a pen ffs!
