Had Carlow a maternity hospital when you were born???

Only laois people can say they are really born in laois if they were delivered in portlaoise general hospital maternity unit.

I'm in County Tyrone and I do like it (its very pretty) but it is frustrating because people are very in your business and not much happens here. So I spend a lot of time in Belfast because that's where it all happens.

Born in Cork raised in Dublin from 3 weeks old moved to kilkenny at 22 then mullingar at 25 Killaloe at 27 galway at 33 and now selling up in galway and moving back to Dublin

Born in tbe Rotunda, and spent my childood living just off OConnell St. We moved out to the suburbs, as all of that part of the city was being demolished. I lived in various parts of Dublin after that as I grew up, and then many countries. I dont have an affinity with Dublin anymore, and wouldnt want to move back there.

That happened to me

. I'm fine with it though as I really like that County too and one of my grand parents came from there. I don't consider myself 'from' there but I'm still happy about it and smile when I see it on my passport
