I see there is a few speed dating Being held around dublin I was thinking of given it a go has anyone tried it and if so what do you think

From my personal experience, utter rubbish.

No proper organisation and no icebreakers. They just set up an event but no-one really overseeing it. May as well just have been drinks at a hotel bar.

Galway

A few years ago it was popular at business networking conferences to have a about 30 minutes of 5 minutes speed business introduction sessions.

On my first two occasions I ended up afterwards spending the whole night 'discussing' our various businesses with rather nice energetic ladies.

Memorable and a good time was had by all.

I still keep in touch with the first lady who now lives in Australia.
