What does it it mean to you and are you one?

To me, it means reads a message on WhatsApp and decides not to reply at the point it is read.

If that is the definition, I am a “blue tick wanker”!

There are others who turn blue ticks off to avoid the miscommunication too. Are you one of them?

Yup, you can turn off when you’re seen online too. The byproduct of that is that you do not see them online and no blue ticks for you. You can also turn off when you were last online. Privacy settings.

I have when I was last online turned off, but blue ticks and online now turned on.

I actually prefer when last online and read receipts are off. Saves knowing people are leaving you on read.

I don’t put too much thought into it unless I’m waiting on an answer for a job. But and I do this too, one needs to consider their reply before typing it. Also I could get a message while at work and I’d read it and just get distracted by work and not reply for a while

I don’t mind if someone doesn’t respond immediately… bar it’s something that warrants an immediate response. But outside of that you don’t know what the other person is doing and maybe they quickly opened and read the message to make sure there wasn’t something important in it. It ain’t personal!

I’m triggered LOL if you aren’t going to reply there & then, why not wait till you’ve time or know what you want to reply, before opening a message. Don’t open till you’re answering, simple 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣 you can do preview on Home Screen to see if it needs opening quickly. Worst thing leaving someone on read. So rude. Rant over haha
