If you remember to use lots of lube it's a fairly easy job.

While pushing in on your shaft rotate it in ether direction, this will wiggle the thrust washer back into position and the shaft will slide in.....

Job done.

All well n good its when the thrust washer slips out of place then things get tricky

Naas which is South West of Dublin

Depending on the year, there’s a plate held on with three bolts that slides over the shaft and the seal sits in behind the plate.

Just remove the three bolts, remove the plate and you’ll see the seal behind it, remove the old seal, slide on a new one and refit the plate.
