Changing the clock

North Cork

I for one am in favour of changing the clocks . We are trying to encourage active travel for people and that includes our young people too . If the clocks do not change where we live it would not be bright in the middle of December until after 9 am so how is it safe to ask our young people to walk or cycle country roads in the dark.

I work outdoors and it's very difficult from 7.30 to 8.00 in the middle of December. I know people say the evenings feel very long . But we can't have it every way.

Port

I'd be happy if the whole world did it and on the same days.

Having to deal with support in another country is hard enough with them being unaware that daylight savings is on.

Also, it's so much extra work. I had to give up my Monday to go in and change the times on equipment so they can be used tomorrow by the end users...

traveling with work, but mainly Ovens Cork

If they do ever keep it to one time, which i hope the wont,,, it should be kept on wintertime,,, totally agree with OP, darkness till 09:30- 10:00 would not be fun
