What is it with straight men that they message you looking to play and suck your cock, can they not be honest and go Bicurious like everyone else, it does make me laugh, we all have our limits.

To explain this you only have to notice the quantity of women and couples profiles that state that they won't meet bi men

We do indeed. Welcome to the world of every person on Fab who's had messages from those who ignore their profile and preferences. I'd like to say it's a select club but, alas, it's not

Exactly this. If you are a single man, you don’t want to reduce your already limited chances indicating that you’re bi

Which is crazy because there's lots of couples that want to meet Bi men, or will only meet Bi men.

I think it should be said, straight men don't want to suck cock.

It's highly likely they're bisexual...as you were!

Given that there are only four options for sexuality on Fab, I assume a lot of people cannot pick the specific sexuality that they identify as. Simply because they have straight indicated on their profile may just mean that it's the closest for them.

Sure, just not as many as who refuse bi men.

It's a calculated tactic I think

I disagree.

I'm bisexual for me, not for others.

If someone can't be honest with themselves, then are they worth your time?

It doesn't necessarily mean they aren't being honest with themselves. Its just not being honest with other people. You choose to be honest and that's great, but in doing so you are losing out on all those "no bi men" women and couples. It's a choice.

If you are a bi or bicurious man, no matter what you put on your profile, why would you want to play with someone who says no bi men?

They obviously are judgemental and don't respect who you are, so why would you want to be with someone like that?

I don't send messages like that but do receive them

Mostly from straight men which I just ignore

Like the Nigerian email scam it must work sometimes ....jackpot ...a straight man gets a blow job from another straight man

And off they go again

People have been trying to be something that they are not in order to obtain the object of their affection since time immemorial. This behaviour is just another flavour of that.

Outside of fab people often conceal parts of their identify from potential partners: it should be no surprise that people do the same on here. In fact I’d say it’s even more likely on here: so many of these guys are just after the ride, not a relationship or even a connection, so there’s even less incentive to be truthful.

The same kind of thing applies to married guys being on here looking for meets: lots of profiles state that they won’t meet people who are playing away without their partner’s knowledge, so what you get is lots of guys who don’t disclose their relationship status.

I’m not saying I condone any of this mind you, just that it’s quite easily explained.

Also, regarding people who state that they won’t meet bi men, I think it’s a bit unfair to label them as judgemental. People are entitled to their preferences. I can easily imagine that for some women the idea of their man having sex with another man is a complete turn off. That doesn’t mean they have anything against people who do engage in such activities, just that such people are not appealing to them. Very much the same as having preferences for physical attributes such as height or an athletic build.

But if they can't be honest with others either then that's not a good start to build trust and connection

A physical attribute is visible, sexual preference isn't. Unless someone has it tattooed on their body or verbalises it there is absolutely no way of telling who they are sleeping with.

While everyone has a right to choose who they do and don't want to sleep with - basing a filter system based on sexual preference which is invisible is prejudiced and carries with it discrimination based on those prejudices.

Until those prejudices are lifted guys will always hide their sexuality.

Bi women are reveared and encourage at clubs and parties. Bi guys should enjoy the same reverence if all things were equal. I have yet to see openly active guy/guy play at club/event - only in very strict minimal after parties.

Until we get to the stage where any bi guy is welcomed to a club/play event in the same way - monetary expense included - it will always be this way and I believe everyone has a roll in breaking down/calling out whatever stigma and barrier there is.

Club and even organisers need to realise by charging for guys they are preventing male couples from attending that could improve the visibility and acceptance of bisexual male play at clubs/events.

Why should a ff couple be potentially free when prices for a male couple I saw for one event would have cost €300 - this is open financial discrimination against bi/gay mm couples and should be called out at every opportunity.

I have a very hard time believing that the "no bi men" thing is a sexual preference. I just can't get my head around it.

Bi guy here, took 18 years of mind battles to actually say it out loud to someone and except it,

It is on my profile out of honesty as I've had past experiences with guys, but not something I'm looking for on here or really go looking for.

If I miss out on a coffee meet or a date because of it then so be it.

I think it just is and has to be accepted as such. Even if couples are cool with F/F relations.

They could be pan or some other variant - I'm a pan women and can't choose that option. There are some people who are sexually attracted but not emotionally attracted to the opposite sex or various genders - so there is a lot of variance - it isn't as simple as saying they are known as bi.

Agreed.I find some TVs attractive but have zero interest in men either sexually or romantically.

I have always found women to be sexually and romantically attractive. One can also just be attracted to different genders via fantasy but have no interest in acting on those fantasies in real life.

There's a vast realm of definition as far as all the nuances of sexuality go and all these states and patterns are subject to drift and change over time. I don't think there's any need for anyone to label or explain themselves or anyone else, why impose limits ? *shrug*

Fair play to you

When I finally changed my profile as I'd met and played with another bloke in a group I wrote a thread about it as it was a huge deal for me to accept its who I am

I can honestly say I got no negative comments towards me at all in the thread and for the first time ever in my life I felt great about it

I'm honest and I mean what I say not to confuse, manipulate, contol or decieve for my own sexual gratification.

I get many guys with "Straight" and with "No single men" on their profiles that want to do the business with me.

Must be a manly ego issue with them that they can't show as for fear of looking unmanly to others?? But whatever the reason anyway there's nothing wrong in putting Bi/Bicurious on your profile I respect that more.

Yeah think that men browsing porn in general and here on Fab is definitely going to create an environment whereby urges to explore same-sex feelings find expression.

Some straight men are going to find themselves turned on by cock simply because they happen to be exposed to those images in an environment which is sex-positive and legitimises sexual expression. They may not find that outlet in their "real" worlds but it's OK to explore it here. Maybe they are just curious and beginning to act on that curiosity.
