The West

I love a pint of Guinness. But I've never drank a large bottle. It does seem to be primarily more popular and more available in the south-east.

Waterford city and county was always a "Large Bottle / Danno / Bojander" stronghold.

They also have a special stash in the bar of DV8. Tell them Badger sent you...🦡

Yeah I asked for one last week in Kildare and the barman looked at me like I had 10 heads, in Dungarvan it's either called a bottle of dog or bicycle pump, I'd fancy one from the cooler the shelf bottles are a bit too hardcore for me lol,

Mid Meath

The auld Sarge of Guinness was a great drink when it was a bottle conditioned beer (That is, it matured in the bottle.). They stopped doing that some years ago and nowadays it’s the same as what’s in a plain can and it’s not as sharp or developed.

Nowadays I find the pub pint of Guinness to be fierce watery and too meh to drink. So I’ll stick to a cup of tea

I prefer to have a chat with naughty lady over coffee or a drink as not really in Guinness.
