I wonder do they still mark the clicks as views? But all people see is the “profile hidden” message…if that makes sense

If it goes up after posting this then possibly is the case. But I can confirm it’s still hidden as I just gave it a quick check

Hi,

I just looked at your profile now. Top of the page says 'profile hidden' but the menu on the left is still available. It shows the number of photos you have in the gallery etc.

So I'd guess the system still registers the visit to your profile.

Weirdly, I hid my profile the other morning, I had over 300 views. I carefully used my filters and blocked all genders and ages, apart from those 99 and over from messaging me. My view count dropped to 29. Today it says 93 people viewed me this week. So many questions. Are the views all from a 99yr old? 🤷‍♀️ 🤔

The people who have viewed you have put you previously in their Hotlist. When you're online they attempt to look at your (hidden) profile to no avail. It •probably• still registers as a 'view'.
