Usually the first items on the shopping list is fruit and veg. We try to have a planned route around the shop it combats getting unwanted or unnecessary items

In fairness I've eaten stuff on the way round and handed over an empty packet to scan and pay for at the checkouts

Don't do full shops ....just run in and get what's run out

What sort of person even does their own shopping? I believe it's the butler or kitchen boy who looks after stuff like that.

The kitchen boy always looks hungry. I'd imagine the little urchin also eats as he does the food collecting activity.

Since the first thing I pass is croissants and pain au chocolate then it would be rude not to. Next up is the Pineapples but just to make sure there's a few upside down ones.

Yep.

Asda is crap in my town. Our Lidl is new. The novelty hasn't worn off yet. Those middle aisle 'must haves' are a constant draw.

It will always be fruit and veg for me, usually bananas. I am so OCD that sometimes I can do the entire shopping visit in my mind before I get there, aisle by aisle.

I hate when my usual shop changes the location of something I get regularly, completely ruins my morning 😬
