Hello Irish Forum,

I’m just curious, but I know myself I absolutely adore an Irish accent and everything about Ireland

Is it the same for the opposite way?? As in Irish love us Scot’s?

Something I always hear but wanted to verify,

Every Irish person I have met it’s like home from home with how we just have the same humour and banter, and an Irish accent just melts my wee Scottish heart. ❤️

Coming from Donegal, Glasgow is our capital city. All my cousins live in Scotland.

I visited Glasgow lots of times before I set foot in Dublin. I’ve romanced a few hens in me day!

Me too. Met a lovely Scottish guy good golfer in PDI in March.

Loved the rugby internationals in Dublin. When the Scottish team visiting there was always great fun in the hotel near Lansdowne Road afterwards. Favourite team always. Accents and fascination with kilts!

Totally agree, had a few Irish pals when I was in the army and just absolutely great lads. Always seemed to connect more to them than English guys, nothing against them right enough just didn’t get the banter at times haha
