South Down

Dead Confederate. They split in 2015 but despite supporting for some big names, they never broke through.

Just got a couple of tickets too see Bryan Adams next May in Dublin.

Saw him 5/6 years ago and it was a brilliant gig.

just about northside

Slight bit off topic but Dublin band LiR, now there’s a band maybe late 80s definitely 90s that had incredibly excellent music that didn’t make it to where they could have been. Met an accomplished guitarist at a LiR gig and asked him what was he doing here. It’s LiR he replied.

"Heilung."

Heilung doing a ritual in a forest in Norway was one of the most magical experiences I’ve ever had.

The West

I love CCR.

There are not many really into them. They had so many big hits for so little credit.

I can see a whole generation "discovering" them in the next decade or so!

Nothing to do with a band but this was voted the worst song ever & I love it , great lyrics , great riff , great beat, great song ,all of the mentioned are only my opinion but I think" We built this City on Rock n roll" is a great song .. wayyyyy better than " The Final Countdown" .

There’s a great documentary about them , Good Cake Bad Cake. Saw them dozens of times in the 90s, alongside Dragonfly, PAMF, Engine Alley, Blink - so many great Irish bands in the 90s.
